POLICIES AT THE EMORY HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST AND EDMONDSON LODGE

 

OUR RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

     A one night’s deposit is required with all reservations.  A reservation is not considered confirmed until a deposit has been received.  Deposits will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received at least 14 days prior to the arrival date.  Thereafter, deposits will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee, only if the room is rebooked.

     All rates are based on single or double occupancy and include a full hot breakfast each day of your stay.  Complimentary snacks and beverages are always available in the dining area.  Some of our rooms have the capacity to accomodate more than 2 guests.  There is a $40 charge for each additional person (including children) per room per night.

     Payment is required upon arrival for all balances.  We accept checks, cash, Mastercard, Visa and Discover.

 CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

     Check in time is from 4-7 p.m., and check out time is by 11 a.m.  Please let us know in advance if you require alternate arrangements.

SMOKING POLICY

     The Emory House B&B is a smoke free facility.  Smoking is permitted only in the outside Firepit Seating Area.

BREAKFAST

     Breakfast is normally served at 9:00 with coffee service at 7:00.  We will gladly serve breakfast as early as 7 a.m. for those whose schedule requires such.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS/ALLERGIES

     Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions due to medical reasons.  Also let us know if you have any food allergies or sensitivities.  We are happy to provide a vegetarian breakfast for those who prefer such.  Please let us know at the time of your reservation if this is your preference.

CHILDREN AND PETS

     We adore children as well as pets!  We accept well-behaved and closely monitored children of responsible parents as guests in the room with their parents, but no more than 2 children per family per room.

     It is our policy to accept small, quiet, housebroken pets, but only  in the Carolina Suite .  A deposit of $200 is required for pets.  This deposit is fully refundable if no damage is incurred from the pet.  We require that pets be kept on leashes at all times when not in the guest suite.  Pets are not allowed in other areas of the facility, but they are welcome in the outside areas, including the porch.
