The Carolina Suite is so named due to Rocky’s alma mater (UNC). Sports memorabilia grace the walls of the suite (among other UNC related items.) Once used as the media room of the house, this unusually large room was originally the reception room for Dr. R. L. Hillman’s medical patients. Today, the suite features a ground floor location, a private entrance, 4 large windows for plenty of sunlight, solid cherry pencil-post queen bed, mini-refrigerator stocked with bottled water and soft drinks, microwave oven with popcorn, a 64 inch HD television with complete Home Theater surround sound system including DVR, and CDs, plus a selection of DVD movies for your enjoyment. This space has 2 leather reclining sofas for enjoying the entertainment system, a gorgeous armoire, a Hitchcock Rocker and a writing table with chair. There is a private bath with access to the washer/dryer should your stay require use of such, and there is a private entrance to the suite from the outside as well as indoor access. It’s just a short walk down the hallway to breakfast, so you don’t have to go outside to get to the dining room! Additionally, the inviting courtyard is just outside the private entrance doorway.
